Glass keeps the view to the pool open, so you can see who is in the water from the house. Panels are toughened safety glass made to size, held on spigots or channel depending on the surface they are fixed to. We will look at your levels and your pool surrounds before recommending one or the other.
A broken panel means the pool barrier is no longer doing its job, so treat it as urgent. Keep children and pets away from the area, and block the gap until it is fixed. In most cases we can replace the one panel and leave the rest of the fence alone. One of our customers wrote about exactly that job, and you can read the review further down.
Pool barriers in Queensland must meet the state pool safety standard, and that covers more than the glass: gate latches, gaps, climbable objects and the surrounding fence all count. If you are selling, leasing or changing your fence, check where your pool safety certificate stands with a licensed pool safety inspector. We are happy to work with yours.
